The Opera of Santa Maria del Fiore, in collaboration with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, launches the first Executive Master in Cultural Heritage, Creativity & Innovation.
The context in which today's society moves is constantly evolving, as well as the formation of managerial figures, able to manage and value an artistic-cultural heritage linked to a territory.
And by marrying this vision that embraces a global and internationalized world in its social and economic components, and an extraordinary and important historical and cultural heritage, the Studium Florentinum project has been created, the first Executive Master in Cultural Heritage - Creativity, Innovation & Management designed and run by the Opera of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, in collaboration with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
Why choose Studium Florentinum?
In a global reality increasingly based on cultural exchanges and conversations, and on evolution in the enjoyment of cultural heritage and more generally of tourist experience, the creative industries in the field of culture are facing a new phase, facing new markets and new business areas in harmony with its own territory and historic-artistic heritage.
Florence, universally recognized as a symbol of Renaissance and Western culture, is the ideal place for the production and enhancement of excellence linked to the territory and its beauties in the broadest sense. In this context, Studium Florentinum - from the Latin name of the first University born in Florence in 1349 in Via dello Studio - is a high-level project that finds its philosophy-base in the concept of "country of origin effect": That fil rouge that links tradition, historical memory and artistic heritage created with the ability to innovate and overcome the past. That is, the very heritage of Florence and the ability to become Florentine applied in many areas: from fashion to food to marketing and cultural management.
A Master that, in line with these concepts, goes beyond the classic distinction of post-degree education and aims to form high profile managerial figures following the concept of learning by doing, in collaboration with the most prestigious brands in the Florentine territory.
Who is it for?

In addition, Studium Florentinum is designed for all those young professionals, already within the cultural sector, who aim at personal and professional growth by comparing themselves with a foreign reality in order to invest and enrich their skills and know-how in the cultural field.
