Opera Magazine is the online space of the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore, where you can find constant insights on our unlimited historical, artistic and spiritual heritage!
Here you can find a constantly updated and implemented series of short articles on the characters and the most and least known historical events that have traced the over seven centuries old existence of the Opera. The artistic events of its countless treasures are here described, through the close up experience of the great artists who worked on them and the analysis of the paintings, statues and architectures they created for this grandiose Complex. The culture and the moral and spiritual meanings of this unique set of Art, Civilization and Faith are here enhanced and divulged.
