Chapel Choir

The Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore has recently decided to revive the Cappella Musicale, or Chapel Choir, of Florence Cathedral with the intention of forming a choir specialising in the execution of the complete repertoire of sacred music, bearing in mind that this choir will be the Cappella of one of the most important and prestigious cathedrals in the world.

The Cappella Musicale will accompany the cathedral's most important liturgical celebrations, performing all of the pieces assigned to it by the liturgy, whether based on its early, traditional repertoire or specially composed for the occasion.
