Brunelleschi the Architect: the new Thematic Tour
The new tour focuses on Brunelleschi and his architectural works: not only the Cupola del Duomo - the Florence Cathedral’s dome - but also a less known masterpiece: the sagrestia vecchia della Basilica di San Lorenzo - the old sacristy of the San Lorenzo’s Basilica.
The tour starts at the Teatro Niccolini, with the screening of the documentary The Courage to Dare, a 15-minute short produced by the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore in conjunction with Rai.com and directed by Elisa Fuksas, an introduction to a visit to the monumental complex of Piazza Duomo and Brunelleschi’s greatness.
