Model of the ancient medieval facade of Santa Maria del Fiore, in painted wood, with reconstructive hypothesis of the marble decoration. The model was made by the architect Franco Gizdulich at the opening of the new layout of the Museum in 2000, based on the most recent studies on ancient iconographic sources; including Nani's copy of Poccetti's drawing prior to demolition in 1587.
