Brunelleschi Pass includes access to all monuments of Piazza del Duomo allowing visitors a complete experience with a single ticket: the Baptistery, Giotto's Bell Tower, Brunelleschi's Dome, the Opera del Duomo Museum and the crypt of Santa Reparata with one access per monument.
Validity:
The monuments included in Brunelleschi Pass can be visited within 3 calendar days from the date selected without time constraints, except for the Dome: to climb-up the Dome it is mandatory to respect the chosen date and time slot. The other monuments can be visited during the 3-days validity of the Pass without time-slot booking. The reservation cannot be changed or cancelled once issued. You can access to the other monuments comprended in the Pass even before the booked time-slot to the Dome, as long as it is on the day of validity. Dome climb slot reservations are only for the first day of your Pass.

Brunelleschi’s Dome
• Visitors accessing the monuments, before entering, must mandatory leave inside the Luggage Storage (Piazza Duomo n. 38/r) suitcases, backpacks, parcels, containers and large and medium-sized bags and other types of objects (regulation here). Visitors who present themselves at the entrance with objects prohibited by the regulation, will not be able to enter.
• From 1 March 2025, an identity document - together with the ticket - will be required to access the climb to the Dome.
• Entry to Brunelleschi's Dome from "Porta della Mandorla" (North side of the Cathedral). Visitors are required to climb 463 steps. No lifts.
• The climb is not recommended for people suffering from heart problems, vertigo, claustrophobia and for pregnant women.
• Minors (<18 y'old) cannot access without an adult.
• The start time of the visit to the Dome is the one selected at the time of purchase and shown on the ticket. Punctuality is required to allow all visitors the best experience. The entry time to the Dome is the start time of the booked time-slot.
• 5 minutes of delay are allowed, compared to the starting time of the visit.
• The recommend time visit is 45 minutes approx. for the Dome.
• The reservation cannot be changed once issued.
Giotto’s Bell Tower
• The ascent consists on foot along a stairway of 414 steps and there is no lift.
• The climb is not recommended for people suffering from heart problems, vertigo, claustrophobia and for pregnant women.
• Minors (<18 y'old) cannot access without an adult.
• The duration for the visit is approx. 45 minutes.
• No reservation is required to climb-up the Bell Tower, just go at the entrance during the 3-days validity of the Brunelleschi Pass.
Baptistery
• Access from the North Door (Martelli's street side).
• Appropriate clothing is required for a place of worship: access is not permitted with bare legs and shoulders, wearing sandals or hats.
• The recommended duration for the visit is approx. 30-45 minutes.
DM. The mosaics of the vault of the Baptistery are not visible due to restoration works.
Opera del Duomo Museum
• Access from Piazza del Duomo no. 9.
• The Museum consists of 28 rooms distributed on three floors that can be accessed by stairways or elevators.
• The recommended duration for the visit is approx. 90 minutes.
DM. Closed on the first Tuesday of each month.
Santa Reparata
• Access from the Cathedral “Porta Campanile” (south side, beside the Bell Tower entrance).
• Visitors arrive to Santa Reparata by going down a short staircase in the second bay of the right aisle of the Cathedral.
• The recommended duration for the visit is approx. 30 minutes.
• Once you've access to Santa Reparata you can also visit the inside of the Cathedral.
