The Cathedral will be closed on Saturday 28th September

The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore will be closed to tourist visits, from the entrance on the façade, for the entire day of Saturday 28 September 2024 for religious reasons. On the same day, access to the crypt of Santa Reparata for ticket holders remains unchanged.
