Monument to the memory of the architect Luigi del Moro (Livorno 1845 - Florence 1897), designed by the architect Giuseppe Castellucci in 1902.

The monument consists of a bronze bust, modeled by Ida Gelli, a plaque with a commemorative inscription and a frame in grey sand stone and pink marble.

The architect del Moro is depicted in a serious and solemn expression, with short hair and a large moustache; he is wearing a jacket with shirt and bow tie. The bust stands out against a circular background of pink marble, surrounded by a stone garland. The monument is located in its original location: the courtyard of the Museo dell'Opera and was donated by the sculptor Edoardo Gelli to commemorate the architect who, as a disciple of De Fabris, completed the nineteenth-century facade of the Cathedral and then designed the first nucleus of rooms of the Opera del Duomo Museum.
